By Nate Tykwinski

The Marshall A's won their 20th game of the season on Tuesday night, beating the Lamberton Longsox 5-1 at Legion Field. Ben Bartling (5-0) gave up just one run over six innings to pick up the win.

Andrew Kinney led the way offensively for the A's, hitting a two run triple to highlight a four run fifth inning.

Jordon Kontz, Chace Pollock, and Taylor Rignell each collected a pair of hits. Tyler Flattum drove in two from his cleanup spot.

Jared Pick made his return to the mound after taking some time off to rest a sore arm. He threw two scoreless innings in relief of Bartling.

Kinney threw a 1-2-3 ninth inning.

The A's travel to Mankato on Saturday for a big section doubleheader against the Twins. Both games are scheduled for seven innings. The first game starts at 2:00 pm.
